The main objective of this research is to establish the legal and human rights implications of the inclusion of the category Non Binary "NB" in the national identity documents (DNI) of Colombia, developing a theoretical qualitative research, based on a documentary review and an analysis from comparative law, where it is proposed to establish an expeditious, administrative and personal procedural mechanism for the recognition of the right to gender identity in Colombia, which is found in the new trends and social currents of human development.
